Defauld mail program

Is it possible to link default mail program to OTRS, the way that agents may work via their standard mail system instead of loging to OTRS?

no, there only some (not really secure) workarounds. Agents need to work with the frontend
"Production": OTRS™ 8, OTRS™ 7, STORM powered by OTRS
"Testing": ((OTRS Community Edition)) and git Master
