upgrading 2.4.7 to 3.0.6

hi all?

I have been using otrs 2.4.7 on our linux server but now want to move it to a windows machine. I already had created a few accounts, some queues and roles and there are a few tickets already. i understand i have to do a clean install on the windows machine but i want to retain the accounts, queues, roles and tickets as they are but move to the 3.0.6 version.

will my config file in 2.4.7 still work in version 3 and also the sysconfig??

am looking for any highlights on this?

This has been asked and answered multiple times in this forum.

Backup folder structure and database, install same revision on destination, restore from backup, change Config.pm if relevant to point to new location for database, etc., test, backup again, upgrade to 3.0.6, test, backup.
