Missing Sec field after migration from OTRS to Znuny 6.5.2

Post by akshattandon »

Hello Everyone,

Previously, we utilized the seconds field to monitor ticket progress and also established various dynamic fields. However, following our transition from OTRS 6.0.x to Znuny 6.5.2, I've noticed that the seconds field is absent in the User Interface (as illustrated in the missing sec fields.png).

These dynamic fields, originally set as datetime type, which previously included a seconds field, are now without it.

Upon examining the dynamic_field_value and dynamic_field DB tables, and files such as Kernel\System\SysConfig\ValueType\DateTime.pm, Kernel\Output\HTML\Layout.pm, and Kernel\System\DynamicField\Backend.pm, it's clear that the seconds field is indeed present.

Could anyone possibly guide us on the steps we can take to make this field visible again?

Thank you.

Thanks Roy, Unfortunately, For us old system is gone.

We tried adding new fields or even with existing fields we don't see Date Time field showing seconds,
Is there any way we can enable that to show seconds field

Hi,

I was completely wrong, sorry. Your abbreviation Sec was misinterpreted as 2nd by me. Let's start over. What was the version you're coming from?

Perhaps you can explain what you want to achieve. Abusing the second (which are typically not of any use on tickt processing) for storing additional data seems not to be th best solution.
"Production": OTRS™ 8, OTRS™ 7, STORM powered by OTRS
"Testing": ((OTRS Community Edition)) and git Master
