[SOLVED] pending auto close does not work

Post by hsaringer »

Hi all,

I´ve got a Problem with OTRS 6.0.24 running on CentOS Linux release 7.7.1908 (Core).

Setting a ticket to pending reminder or pending auto close+ does not do anything when the pending time is reached.
I have tried to clear cache, shutdown the VM, restart the Daemon.pl and Cron.sh, change settings slightly.

It worked a few months ago and suddenly stopped working without changing anything than adding a few Agents + their roles and groups.
I am out of ideas to fix that, maybe there is something else I could check?

The summary shows following:

Code: Select all

-bash-4.2$ ./otrs.Console.pl Maint::Daemon::Summary

Gathering summary for all daemons...

  System configuration sync:
    Daemon is active.

  Tasks to be executed in future:
    There are currently no tasks to be executed in future.

Hi,

First of all, the Sysconfig Ticket::PendingAutoStateType is probably wrong. pending auto close+ and close are state and not state types.

Do you have also a screenshot for your states?

Thanks for the fast answers.

I am looking though System Configurations all the time, I cant find it, so my only option is to search here.

So i should change:
Ticket::PendingAutoStateType to have "pending reminder" and "pending auto" in? Do I understand that correctly?

State Screenshot is attached.

Kind regards,
Harry

Hi,

pending reminder is a state type where a reminder is sent, pending auto is a state type where a state change from A to B. Usually, the default value works fine.

My next steep would be to run as the OTRS user this command to see if there are any errors:

Code: Select all

bin/otrs.Console.pl Maint::Ticket::PendingCheck

I´ve set all back to default and it works fine. My bad I did not think of that earlier.

Many thanks, Roy :)

Can close this thread and mark it as solved.
