Dear everyone,
I'm using OTRS 6, when I want to use the print function on OTRS,
I found that the output PDF can't display the Chinese characters, included the Chinese characters in articles.
Is it owing to the encoding of OTRS? Any solution to it?
Photo for your reference:
Thank you very much for your time.
Best regards,
Kelvin

Re: PDF output Chinese Characters
may be client rendering issue ?
If using Windows 10,
- Using the Start menu search for Manage Optional Features.
- Select Add a feature
- From the list of available features select Chinese (Traditional/Simplied) Supplemental Fonts.
- Select Install
not sure gonna solve your issue or not, but good luck

Re: PDF output Chinese Characters
Hello Kelvin,
Unfortunately, it's an OTRS side problem.
It's a leak of CJK fonts, which the Perl module is requiring.
Following this comment should fix your problem: https://bugs.otrs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11554
Best regards
