Email based routing ...

Hi :D ,

i have 100 + customers with different email ID's , I do not want to create multiple postmaster accounts for every customer. So how do i configure OTRS to do a domain based routing .

For eg.

If an email comes from mahesh@xyz.com then it should automatically create a ticket in XYZ queue.

Note -- I do not want to create multiple postmaster accounts for this.

Don't use customer based queues.

You wouldn't build a new conference room every time you took on a new customer.
Don't make yourself work so hard.

Alternatively you might try Postmaster Filters.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

Set X-OTRS-Queue appropriately
