Permission: Exclude Group?

For many modules in OTRS system configuration there is a setting for "Group" and/or "GroupRo".
As we want to deactivate certain frontend modules (e.g. "Frontend::Module###AgentTicketStatusView") for a group of external users, IHMO we have to add all groups to "Group" except the group for externals users to do this. This becomes cumbersome if you have a long list of groups ...

e.g. Group = "Support A" + "Support B" + "admin" + .... instead of Group = NOT "External User Group"

Therefore my Q: Is there a way to exclude a certain group in the group setting?

Use roles and create a group for the module, sth. like g_statusview, and grant access with this group to a role and the assign roles to the user.
