Greetings,
In trying to ensure our tickets are marked in the correct 'Categories [Free Fields]' field for reporting purposes; is there a way to require this field to select the appropriate "Type" and not accept the auto "Unknown/Unclassified" default selection?

Hi,
You can use an ACL to prevent choosing this ticket type and another ACL to prevent working on the ticket unless the type has changed (for incoming emails).

Re: Require "Free Fields" Type
Not familiar with creating ACL's.
How would I go about setting this up.
I want it to reject using the defaulted Unknown / Unclassified Ticket Type and require the technician to select an appropriate ticket type accordingly?
