Stats graph on dashboard

Hello.
We have a stats that creates a bar graph with all open tickets on the system (opened the last week). How can we put it on the dashboard? On dashboard appears the message "The content of this statistic is being prepared for you, please be patient.", but the graph never appears. When we runs the statistics on-line, we have the result on 10 seconds.

hi there,

im facing a kind of stange issue, im getting stats graph working in dashboard for while and suddenly i get this msg :"The content of this statistic is being prepared for you, please be patient". even though i have my script (generateGraphdashbrd.pl) running every 5 min, also tried to forcing it every certain time but no success making it for long period of time...

There's no file in cron folder that has a name like generate_dashboard_stats should I create it in order to have one?
If ever how would I create it? Please advise us, I want to try it on my dashboard. Thank you!
