Can anyone clarify the default link type that come with OTRS
Normal, Child, Parent.
I am looking to find out if there is anything specific that the system do with these link types??
I found information on Master/Slave, that's clear but what about Normal Vs Parent/Child Link type ??
Thanks

Re: Link Type: Normal, Child, Parent
If you link a ticket with a FAQ article or CI item, you should select "Normal" link.
While if you link a few tickets together, you should select "Parent" or "Child" link. You can not close parent ticket untill all children ticket were closed.
