OTRS 5.0.27 how to set postmaster filter (if a string is not present in mail)?

Post by Thomymaster »

Hi

OTRS: 5.0.27

I have some postmaster filters that filter specific values of the incoming mail and set the queue and custom fields accordingly.

Now i need a postmaster filter that sets the queue (to the queue "else") if a string is not (!) found inside the complete mail body.

How can i achieve this (lets say the whole mail body should be searched for the string "test" and if not present, the queue should be set to "else")?

Best,
Thomas

Hello Thomas,

Postmaster filters are executed from the bottom to the bottom, as they are sorted alphanumerically.
Unless you select 'Stop after match', all filters will be executed.
That means you'll need one that is listed at the bottom. Search for the term in the body and negate it (the button is right to the value field).

Best regards
