Editing Frontend::NotifyModule###9000-Generic

Post by tupson »

Greetings,

According to the following article: https://doc.otrs.com/doc/manual/config- ... ntend.html

Adding Target _blank to the Frontend::NotifyModule###9000-Generic configuration should prompt the URL to a new window/tab.

However, both in IE and Chrome it redirects to the URL within the same window.

Anyone else experience this, or know why this is not registering properly?

Bump, this is still an issue; even with the current version.

Hi,

The article you've posted point to the OTRS 7 manual. There's is no option for this in Community Edition 6, maybe you can play around with the parameter LinkClass and try sth like AsPopup

Not sure what you mean by it not being an option in Community Edition 6, I am literally within the same configuration file within 6.0.20?

Hi,

Did you ever try to reset the setting to see the default values? You can add any parameter but it doesn't really have any effect:

There is no parameter target in the code passed to LayoutObject->Notify()
