Good day,
I read up on the web service feature of OTRS 5, http://doc.otrs.com/doc/manual/admin/st ... rface.html, and I still not some guidance on how to setup a web service requester using the GUI. We need the web service to send data to a remote system via SOAP when a ticket is either created or moved into a certain queue.
Examples would be great?
Regards,

Requesters would need additional software e.g. the OTRS Business Solution™or development.
You'll find several examples on blog.otrs.com

Re: OTRS as Requester: Web Service (How To?)
Jojo, please elaborate. What type of development is involved or required?
Re: OTRS as Requester: Web Service (How To?)
actually there is no code to ue OTRS as requester build in, just for OTRS as provider. As part of the OTRS Business Solution™ this code is available.
So if you wan't to develop this you have to create the needed Operations (OTRS specific PERL code)

Still not clear.
OTRS is not going to be the provider in this integration, but act as a requester. Do we still need development for that? or business solution?

OTRS as requester works only with the OTRS Business Solution or Development
