Hi all,

Is it possible or is there a way to install otrs on one machine and my otrs database is installed on another machine?
If yes, how? Thanks in advance.

- Walkthrough the installer.pl
- read the docs
- read /opt/otrs/Kernel/Config.pm

Hi,

read the docs from versio 3 at
https://otrs.github.io/doc/manual/admin ... -otrs.html

I don't know why it is not in latest version.

setup up a database as described in Installing the OTRS database manually.

OR

Also you can use installer.pl for a remote DB host.
