Hi Team,

I can these error messages frequently in System Log. Can someone guide me any configuration missed or any setup need to modify:

Below are the frequent error:

There was an error executing Fetch() in Kernel::System::FetchMail: ERROR: OTRS-otrs.Daemon.pl - Daemon Kernel::System::Daemon::DaemonModules::SchedulerTaskWorker-0 Perl: 5.10.1 OS: linux

There was an error executing /usr/bin/fetchmail -a: Unknown

There was an error executing /usr/bin/fetchmail -a --ssl: Unknown

Can't send message: 550Start mail input; end with <CRLF>.<CRLF>

Your mailserver is closing the connection. Does this happen when you send a mail in a ticket, autoreplies or notifications?

I'm able to reply, receive, and Auto Replies, notifications are working fine.

Fetch mail also working fine. But, don't understand why that error message firing us continuously. Per day it fire 20K mails.

Can you please let me know if any changes needed at configuration level.

It looks like you activated Daemon::SchedulerCronTaskManager::Task##FetchMail Daemon::SchedulerCronTaskManager::Task##FetchMailSSL without configuring fetchmail properly. If you're getting your mails via the Postmaster disable those two options in the SysConfig.

Hi,

As suggested by you, I have disabled Daemon::SchedulerCronTaskManager::Task##FetchMail and Daemon::SchedulerCronTaskManager::Task##FetchMailSSL. Still I am receiving those error mails.

Please suggest.

Did you restart daemon?

Is it mandatory to restart Daemon after changing anything at configuration level.

New to OTRS so not aware about it.

Yes, you should restart the daemon after you've changed the configuration for the daemon.
