Hi everybody,
after the update of a CentOS6 test system from OTRS 4.0.8 to 5.0.7 I noticed on the service center summary a "red light" in the Time Zone settings:
Since this information is new (it is not reported on 4.0.8 version) I didn't notice the possible misconfiguration so far.
My systems are in Italy and I defined two custom calendars specifying a TimeZone +1 for that.
However now I see that red alert ... do you think that it means I should left the TimeZone set as 0 (default).
I am not sure I understood the alert: "TimeZone may only be activated for systems running in UTC"
My Linux system report the following settings (that I confirm are the correct date/time when I issue the date command):
[root@x-otrs ~]# date
Sat Feb 20 21:12:53 CET 2016
[root@x-otrs ~]# time
real 0m0.000s
user 0m0.000s
sys 0m0.000s
[root@x-otrs ~]#
So... do you think I have to switch the TimeZone to 0 for my two custom calendars?
Any help would be really apreciated!
Giulio

Re: TimeZone issue after update to 5.0.7
So your server is running at CET (that is UTC +1) and you instruct OTRS to add another hour to that, that's wrong.[root@x-otrs ~]# date
Sat Feb 20 21:12:53 CET 2016
Since your server is already showing correct timezone, OTRS should be set to 0
