3.1 Split tickets are not copying freetext fields

When we split tickets, none of our Dynamic FreeText fields are being copied into the new ticket.
The Admin manual seems to state it should happen.
We call our free text fields out individually instead of using the "generic" call - could this be the reason, or does someone know the "trick" to getting split tickets to have the freetext fields populated the same as the original ticket?

are you using 3.1.5? If not, upgrade first

I checked it in version 3.1.5.

Split Ticket works fine with Dynamic Free Fields.

I am using 3.1.5 with ITSM 3.1.3
not working here.
also not copying over Service or SLA
