OTRS 2.3.3 released

We are proud to announce that the stable release of OTRS 2.3.3
(Bora Bora) has been released today.

Enhancements:
=============

* Updated Italian translation, thanks to Remo Catelotti!
* Updated Chinese translation, thanks to Never Min!

Minor Bugfixes:
===============

* Bug #3314 - Escalation time was not updated correctly.

* Bug #3251 - Was not able to fetch emails via POP3s (Can't
connect to) from gmail or MS Exchange mailboxes.

* Bug #3261 - Agent got escalation notifications in his web
interface for tickets with read-only permission.
(normally read/write permission is required to
receive an escalation notification).

* Bug #3158 - Tickets in a pending state escalated although
The escalation time should have been set out.

* Bug #3315 - GenericAgent was not working with pending time
options. An error log message got logged, the job
was not executed.

* Bug #3266 - Backup script "scripts/backup.pl" was failing,
because it called "mysqldump5" not "mysqldump".

Windows Installer temporarily not available:
============================================

Due to licence agreement problems regarding ActivePerl,
which is embedded in the current Win Installer the Installer
file is temporarily not available. An alternative will be
provided as soon as possible.

Meanwhile a manual installation of all components (i.e
Apache(optional), MySQL(optional), ActivePerl, additional perl
packages, CronW, OTRS) will work and cause no license problems.

We will keep you up-to-date on this mailing list.

Important for Upgrading:

For those folks who are using OTRS 2.1 or OTRS 2.2 and
want to upgrade to 2.3 please read the UPGRADING and
INSTALL files.
