OTRS 2.3.0 beta4 released

We are proud to announce OTRS 2.3.0 beta4 (Bora Bora) today.
This is a beta release of OTRS 2.3 which is not recommended to
use for productive operation. Beta releases are published for
test purposes only.

The stable release is planned to be released Aug 4th 2008.

Fixed bugs:

* Bug #3053 - AJAX functionality within the ticket interface
wasn't working properly when the cookies support
was disabled in the browser.

* Bug #3046 - Creating a new Telephone- or Email-Ticket in the
agent interface required to click twice on the
"create" botton.

* Bug #3047 - Once assigned it wasn't possible to reset services
and slas to the option >none< in the AgentTicketNote
screen.

* Bug #2960 - OTRS update script "scripts/DBUpdate-to-2.3.pl"
failed if there existed no config file (ZZZAuto.pm).
The script now creates a new file if there is no
existing config file (ZZZAuto.pm) found.

* Bug #3029 - Search results in the agent interface of linkable
objects were not sorted correctly.

* Bug #3030 - If the same linked ticket was linked again the user
didn't get the intended error message in the web
interface.

* Bug #3034 - The "Article sort order" in the Ticket Zoom screen
wasn't working properly while using the new Expand/
Collapse feature.

* Bug #3059 - New ticket fulltext search feature wasn't working
properly because of a missing "article_search" table
in *.sql create scripts.

Enhancements:

* Added new administration interface for managing ticket priorities.

* Language translation files have not been updated to the new release
OTRS 2.3.x. We kindly ask for your assistance to update the
translation files! The files can be found here:

Important for Upgrading:

For those folks who are using OTRS 2.2 and want to upgrade
to 2.3 (we do not recommend this at this time because OTRS 2.3.0
beta1 is a beta release) please read the UPGRADING and INSTALL
files.

Although OTRS 2.3.0 beta4 has been tested before, we appreciate
your contributions and bug reports. You, the OTRS community, has
always been an invaluable source of helpful suggestions, fair
comments and well skilled testers to us.
