you can use a local MTA like postfix to send the mails (also to O365). This might be more robust

you can create Ticket Notifications for the agents for such a usecase. But you should consider if you really want to bother all agents any time a tixket is closed or just the ones who are watching the ticket

For DynamicFieldSet you have to use the DF Name without DynamicField_

You can set it to empty or to 0 (empty will delete it from the ticket)

In OTRS there is an eventbased System which can e.g trigger Notifications or Webservices (you would need to develop an invoker) or can be used to run GernericAgents or local Perl based Eventmodules

Passwords can not be fetched by LDAP for security reasons. So the script sets test as a password and the customer users should use the password forgotten function the create a local password. Such a old OTRS version will not work with newer versions of PERL. Also this version is so old and has many security issues so it can not be operated safely any more which is e.g. also an issue with the GDPR

((OTRS)) Community Edition 5 is already out of support and just receive security updates (till OTRS 8 will be released end of March). ((OTRS)) Community Edition 6 will at least get security fixes till OTRS 9 is released

I guess you have some security guidelines in your headquarter how to keep a linux system up to date.

Also you should follow the OTRS patchlevels as you are already missing several ((OTRS)) Community Edition security fixes. (Actual version is 6.0.25, on friday the next patch will be released)

it seems that your installation is not made correct. Please also always use the latest patchlevel as 6.0.4 is outdated and has known security bugs

Agent need to use Note for this case. But please be reminded that no Quotes of the orginal mails would be available. By design OTRS uses mail as main communication channel
