Import Past tickets from Spiceworks
Is there a way to import past TIckets from Spiceworks? I've got the database dumped to a csv, just wondering if there is a way to import these automatically.
Re: Import Past tickets from Spiceworks
No, there is no generic import for tickets from other tools

Re: Import Past tickets from Spiceworks
I know its really old post but is anything change in past 11 year regarding import from another DB to OTRS?
We got old ticketing system in spiceworks using SQLite, but it can be exported to CSV if that will make it easier?
Or any other advice? Its around 8000 ticket to convert to OTRS MySQL DB

Hi,
No there changed nothing. An import is not possible by default. I did it a few times for customers with customer development.

we got around 8000 historic tickets in SQLite (Spicework) can you direct us from what we should start? OTRS running on MySQL.

Hi,
Read the data from SQLlite and add them to OTRS via the GenericInterface. The script you have to write needs to transform the data. Anything else like CSV and can't recommend.
Note: by using the GenericInterface the timestamps can't be set.
