Hi guys,
we decided to move our OTRS 4.x installation to latest 6.x but we found that new version is requiring Centos 7. So actually, using the old Centos 6, we was able to update to latest OTRS 5.x version that still supports Centos 6.
Our question now is howto move the OTRS 5.x, installed on Centos 6, to a new Centos 7 and then update it to latest 6.x
Did someone already did it ?
Thanks in advance.
Gianfranco

You can create a backup (using the backup script), install a new OTRS5 on CentOS 7 and restore. Then do the upgrade...

Thanks for the prompt answer I will try and let u know.
PS.My doubt on this was related to the database changing from Centos 6 to 7 (different mysql db) and the engine "MyISAM".
