Autofetch mail failure

Hi,

We are using Otrs 5s. Every thing runs fine but over the last week we are frequently seeing that the AutoFetchMail task is failing and we have to go and clear the process_id table to get it working again. The log used to show that there was a failure to register the process in database and check if there was another process running.

On closer inspection we found the following message in the error logs:

There was an error executing Execute() in Kernel::System::Console::Command::Maint::PostMaster::MailAccountFetch: [Mon Apr 24 13:00:24 2017] otrs.Daemon.pl: Wide character in field 13 but mysql_enable_utf8 not set at /opt/otrs/Kernel/System/DB.pm line 461.

Can someone help with how to fix this?

Have you tried to set mysql_enable_utf8=1 at DB.pm?
