Change process field names

Post by retro2707 »

Hi,

We have created some OTRS processes with various dynamic fields for the initial form submittion. One of the built in entries is "Title" as shown below:
2017-04-20 09_55_33-Edit Activity Dialog _IC Report Request Form_ - Process Management Activity Dial.png
Is it possible to change the name of this? I couldn't find where this can be done but maybe im just missing something :)

Thanks!

Brendan

No, that is the ticket title... If you want to change the label for each occurence of Title, you could change the translation file.

Oh, thanks reneeb, that sounds exactly what I need. Where could i find this translation file? Sorry for the basic questions, I am still a bit of a newbie with a lot of OTRS things...

<OTRS_HOME>/Kernel/Language/*.pm

But please do not edit the core files and create your own file. E.g. if your language is de, do not edit de.pm, but create de_ZZZCustom.pm...
