Adding Agent-Name in Sender-Name

Hi,

I know that it's possible to change the Sender Name (e.g. ... via OTRS) when sending out eMails.
When an agent adds an external note, our customers get an notification about that.
Now I would like to change the Sender Name of the Notification, so that not only the "System Address" is displayed, but also the Agent Name.
Example: "Company Inc. - Mike Miller"

Any idea, how that can be done? Maybe with an extension?

Why? That's what templates are for.

Yes, but only if the agent sends out an E-Mail; this setting does not apply if an notification is sent via "event notification"-system.

Our agents make notes (type note-external) in the ticket; and about that our customers are informed by "event notification".

Yes. Unless it's required that the customers have to log in to see what you updated.
