Recently created customers are not shown in Customers-Groups

Recently created customers are not shown in Customers-Groups
I am having this problem that has become quite serious. I am not seeing any major errors in otrs and Apache logs but when I am creating new customer, I then go to Customers-Groups tab to assign that Customer to a particular group. But I don't see him/her on a list. At the same time, the Customer is saved in database successfully, I verified by checking out contents of customer_user table. I also increased a number of Customers that may be shown in AdminCustomerUserGroup.pm file (originally it was 200 value but we are at 300+ customers now). What can be causing this?

Same Problem here, I found some other Threads with the same error and they all look like this one - no one ever replied.
Oldest Thread with this issue is from 2006.
Was there a solution within the last 11 years?
My issue is nearly the same but slightly different.
On my system some users are not shown in Customer groups list but they are not new.
It is connected to LDAP and I had the same issue on a recent Testsystem with about the same settings.
