Is there currently a way to allow customers to see their account e-mail address under their Preferences?
If not, what file must I manipulate? I can't seem to find the .dtl for the Preferences interface...

to change a Template would not be enough. You also need to create a module for this

How does a custom module get processed?
I'm reading up on this and I see an example of a custom customer preferences module, and its xml configuration file. But it doesn't show the process of implementation.
I'm sure this info is somewhere and I'm sorry to ask, but would you or someone be willing to inform me?
