ITSM 3.1.4 errors while installing packages

I have OTRS 3.1.7 installed successfully, now I am trying to setup the ITSM 3.1.4 packages and install them, I am getting following errors, I have tried installing packages individually as well as thru the bundelled pacakage , both are failing, I don't know how to fix this, any help is appreciated.
Error is as follows:
Table 'otrs.gi_webservice_config' doesn't exist, SQL: 'SELECT id, name FROM gi_webservice_config WHERE valid_id IN (1)'

this error is not ITSM related, so please check your logs for other errors. Also check you MySQL my.cfg settings for max_allowed_package
