How to restrict users/customers to a particular Queue?

Hi,

How can I restrict a particular group of customers to a particular queue?

While creating a new ticket from the customer end, I want the 'To' drop-down to display only that particular Queue name corresponding to the customer group he belongs to.

Hi,

I have already tried this option i.e.

3) Restrict the Queues available to a customer via Customer Groups

posted in the topic mentioned above.

Thanks for that.

When I map customers to a group through "Customers<-> Groups" , it still doesn't show that queue to that customer. Here this group is created from "Groups" which consists of all administrators for this queue which has been mapped to the "Queues" as well.

Queues that belong to "users" will show. Change the group to which the Queue belongs.

In that case, I won't be able to assign administrators group to the queue, since only one group can be assigned to a queue at a time. Correct me if I am wrong. What's the alternative?

Have done that too in the first instance only.

Added admins & customers in the same group. The admin thing is working for me but not the customers thing.

Please describe "not working". Customers should have RW access and membership to the groups for the queues they should be able to submit tickets.
