Run Postmaster Filter Against a Que

Post by wizzbangca »

Any way to run an existing postmaster filter against a que?

I have over 5000 tickets sitting in a que I am definitely not going to manually filter. I set up postmaster filters to work on incoming tickets, but I don't see anything that lets me run filters against existing tickets in ques. The tickets don't have responses or anyone assigned to them besides the admin. Moving them around won't cause any problems.

Running OTRS 3.0.6 on Windows.
OTRS 3.2.6
Centos 6 with default httpd and mysqld packages

Could someone explain how to use the generic agent for rerunning and testing a Postmaster filter?

This is an ancient topic. Perhaps you might create a new one.
But the short answer is they work differently. Once you've created a Generic Agent you don't need to create a PostMaster Filter.
