Agent Notification

Hello all,
I'm currently running ORTS 3.0.8. on a Linux Debian 6.02
For some reason the agent notifications are not working the way they should.
Appearently the system is not sending any emails and always, when I retrieve the emails via POP3, I'm getting the error that "OTRS is not able to send to this address". Our Email server is configured to send and receive from and to any email adresses. So this error message does not make any sense.
I am also able to send emails manually from ORTS.

Any ideas or suggestions?
