SOAP RPC How to format article body

Hello,

I can create tickets using the SOAP RPC methods without a problem. The originating system generates unpredictable line lenghts with multiple value pairs. I just want to format these value pairs so these display nicely in the body of the article. I have a simple script that can format the desired body content in XML, HTML or what-ever. What format do I use so it displays nicely? As it is, it looks like I can only pass plain text.
