OTRS 5.0.21 how to change the ticket subject in the ticket view?

Hi

Once-again i have a rather cosmetical (but in our setup important) question:

When i navigate inside the ticket view the subject (on top of the page is) i.e.:


[#Ticket 170002] — some issue which needs to be fixed

How can i remove the "—" so that the subject is:

[#Ticket 170002] some issue which needs to be fixed

So only one blank between the ticket number and the subject? ;)
This is in our case due to some copy&paste we'd like to do with the subject and it has to be in the format above (without the —)

Hi,

you can not edit the subject.

You can edit the title of the ticket.


The subject(s) generation is configured in sysconfig in Core::Ticket ->
Ticket::SubjectFormat

But Ticket::SubjectFormat doesn't help me in this case, please see my initial thread

Hi,

I don't have a "—"

I have never seen a "—" in a OTRS.
so it must be your configuration, or someone writes "—" in subject.

Maybe you do not see the difference between a subject and title?

Hi,

ah OK. I have this, too.
You can not remove this with configuration. Code Change is needed.
If you have a process running, you can create this with a transistion action and a dynamic field set.
