Folks,
I have a scenario here. In the queue view the ticket age shows 10days. But looking into it, there are 6 recent articles created, basically those articles are the response to that ticket. Since the age shows 10days, it went down as per my sorting logic(youngest first). Also I didnt get any notfication when the new articles were added. Is there a way to optimize it?

You should sort the ticket overview by "changed" not by age.
Did you mark the queues as "My Queues" in the preferences? You only get notifications for those queues...
