I'd like to migrate our OTRS installation from CentOS 6 to a new CentOS 7 server and upgrade OTRS from version 4 to 5. Are there any pros and cons to upgrading OTRS on CentOS 6 first and then moving to CentOS 7 vs. migrating to new O/S first and then upgrading OTRS?
As far as the O/S move, once I've got a fresh install of OTRS on CentOS 7 the Backup/Restore process in the Admin Manual should cover it, right? Any gotchas I should be aware of?
Thanks.
Upgrade CentOS 6, OTRS 4 > CentOS 7, OTRS 5

Hi,
From my experience with CentOS using the rpms everything should run smooth.
