Outstanding Ticket Reports from Previous Months

Hi,

I am using OTRS 3.1.9 for a number of years now. Unfortunately, the guy supposedly doing the reports was not doing it and we can't figure out how to produce previous months/weeks outstanding ticket reports (tickets that have been created based on certain date and still open until certain date). We can produce this report no problem as long as it is done on the current week (for example, I am producing the report, today, and it covers from May 29 to June 5).

Example is:
I am producing the report today June 5th. Tickets that were CREATED and STILL OPEN between March 7 and March 14, must be on the report. If the ticket was closed between March 7 - 14, it should not be on the report.

My problem is, since they're all closed already (as they should be), I don't get any tickets on the produced report. I can't figure out for the life of me how to get this going. Would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!
