Hello,
I am using OTRS5.0.16 integrated with a Zabbix server trough the API to open and close a new ticket during an issue with my server. I wish to auto link a CI to this ticket( maybe using system monitoring) but i have no idea in how to connect the ticket to a CI in my CMDB. I've installed the DynamicFieldITSMConfigItem module, but i can't link the CI in a ticket yet when i am creating a new ticket or even do it automatically.

That's the addon I would have suggested to use. You now have to create a dynamic field and put the desired value into it. The module then will automatically link it.
It is important to note that you cannot use the NAME of the CI, but its ID.

The automatic link is not the default. After install package DynamicField-ITSMConfigItem you should turn on the automatic link.

Standard module "System Monitoring" can autolink related CI to new ticket created via email. Just read module manual.
