Plugin for asset management

We would like a method to automatically load the cmdb database in asset management in OTRS.

Is there a plugin and for which software that will enable us to push the information to cmdb.

I have read there is a cvs Import/Export for cmdb ( initial use) and then it has to be maintained manually.

Suggestions are welcomeas we intend to use OTRS but the requirements are that the assets be automatically updated.

there will be a feature add on for support customers which integrates fusion inventory

Hi jojo,

How about network or storage devices which the fusion inventory agent can not install on?

Can OTRS discover those devices by SNMP protocal remotely and import them into CMDB automaticlly?

No, as OTRS is not a discovery tool.

I also await this module. It is a prerequisite of any system I would recommend.

Currently I am swinging towards OCSNG/GLPI as a solution...

We are using OCSNG and GLPI ..However can anyone suggest an Export /import trough CSV or something ..where in I import all the assets to OTRS and manually manage them atleast.
