Auto Response Diagnostics

Post by agtcooke »

I'm having a bit of an ghost issue with auto replies.

I have an auto reply ("New Ticket Auto Reply") configured for "Change 'auto reply' settings" for each of three queues. In my testing, users receive this auto reply when submitting a new ticket - works as intended. However, I'm getting some reports from agents that they're not getting this auto reply when emailing tickets in. I've tested this personally, and it seems like it works 90% of the time...

I'm occasionally getting the following email which *may* coincide with times that the auto response fails to send:

Subject: Cron <otrs@myhost> $HOME/bin/otrs.PostMasterMailbox.pl >> /dev/null
Body: Use of uninitialized value in subroutine entry at /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.1/IO/Socket/SSL.pm line 391.

Does this mean anything to you? Is it relevant to my issue?

Is there a per-user setting that might cause agents to (sporadically) not receive auto responses?
