Hi,
It took me a while to figure out how to create a menu item Import/Export under CMDB. The same menu item is avaiable in Admin area (for Admins) but I wanted to make it visible for Agents.
1. First you need to find a module which need to be modified – in this case it was Frontend Agent Module Registration
2. Then you need to find correct section and add subsection which will create the menu item - the Action item is the key, in this case it was easy to find from the link (GET) command of Import/Export
3. Now you just need to make sure the agents have right permission to the module Import/Export itself. In this case I just add RO permission for itsm-configitem group.
