OTRS 2.4.0 beta 5 - Aitutaki Beach released

We are proud to announce that the beta5 release of OTRS 2.4
codename: Aitutaki Beach (Cook Island) has been released today.

ENHANCEMENTS:

* The single English translation file was splitted into
separate translations files for en_US, en_UK and
en_Canada maily to support different date and time
formats. For further info see:

* Updated Polish translation, thanks to Artur Skalski!
* Updated French translation, thanks to Olivier Sallou!
* Updated Persian translation, thanks to Afshar Mohebbi!

* Added CSV/HTML export for Admin-SQL-Box feature
(until now only HTML was supported).


FIXED BUGS:
===========

* Bug#3936 - Within the Bulk-Action feature, the option "select
all" was not working if only one ticket was shown
in the overview/ticket list.

* Bug#3939 - The option to configure external customer database
Source failed, e. g. for external customer users
(Error message was: Got no EncodeObject! at Kernel/
System/DB.pm line 96.").

* Bug#3956 - New OpenSearch feature for fulltext search was not
Working. Instead of showing the matches according to
a search string, the system showed all tickets.

* Bug#3938 - GenericAgent was unable to send escalation emails
to agents (Error message was: Got no EncodeObject).

* Bug#3934 - After a new installation and creating an ticket
based on an incoming email, an error message got
logged without any effect (removed wrong log
message).

responses, std responses, signatures and salutations.

UPGRADING:
===========
For those folks who are using OTRS 2.3 and want to upgrade to 2.4
please read the UPGRADING and INSTALL files. We do not recommend to
use OTRS 2.4.0 beta5 for running operations.

The stable release is planned to be published 2009-07-20. In
order to provide a high quality software, we had to postpone
the formerly announced stable release date 2009-07-01 due to
some issues with the new WYSIWYG editor. We apologize for the
inconvience!
