We are proud to announce that the beta2 release of OTRS 2.4
Codename: Aitutaki Beach (Cook Island) has been released today.

* Updated norwegian translation - thanks to Fredrik Andersen!

FIXED BUGS:
===========

* Bug #3618 - Fixed Ticket history screen (info located in table
ticket_history.queue_id). In case of a TicketMove-
Event the wrong queue_id, i.e. the old queue_id
instead of the new queue_id was stored.

* Bug #3598 - Attachments were displayed incorrectly in the
ticket zoom view when they were formerly located
in the file system (AttachmentFS backend) and had
been transferred into the AttachmentDB backend.

* Bug #3583 - A permission error was shown when a watched ticket
was moved into a new queue where the moving agent
had no read permissions.

* Bug #3805 - After an OTRS upgrade loging into OTRS failed and
the following error message was shown:
"Kernel/Output/HTML/NavBarTicketBulkAction.pm not
found".

UPGRADING:
===========
For those folks who are using OTRS 2.3 and want to upgrade to 2.4
please read the UPGRADING and INSTALL files. We do not recommend to
use OTRS 2.4.0 beta2 for running operations. The stable release is
planned to be published 2009-07-01.
