OTRS 2.2.2 (Ipanema) is released!

We are proud to announce OTRS 2.2.2 (Ipanema) today. This is a
patch level release of stable OTRS 2.2., and contains some
bug fixes and enhancements. For a complete list see below.

The OTRS team recommends all OTRS users to upgrade to OTRS 2.2.2.

Changes:

* Bug #2020 - Improved system performance of escalations. Please
see notes section for important update instructions.

phone ticket wortks again.

Enhancements:
=============
* Updated portuguese translation, thanks Filipe Henriques and
Rui Pires!
* Updated norwegian translation, thanks to Fredrik Andersen!
* Updated hungarian translation, thanks to Aron Ujvari!
* Updated spanish translation, thanks to Carlos Oyarzabal!
* Added update scripts for mssql and maxdb.
* Due to security concerns generic agent jobs will not longer
run without at least one search attribute. If you need to
match all tickets, a '*' in the ticket number field is
required now.

Notes:
======

I. Database structure needs to be extended if you already use
OTRS 2.2.1

To increase the performance for escalations we needed to add
new tables to the database. We do everything to avoid altering
the DB structure in patch releases, but in this there was no
way around it.

If you perform a fresh installation or upgrade from OTRS 2.1
to 2.2.2 here is nothing special do. Just follow the instructions
as descibed in the documentation for installation or upgrade.

If you are upgrading from 2.2.x to 2.2.2 you need to run the
DBUpdate-to-2.2.2.sql script (in the scripts folder) to add the
new tabled to your database.

II. Changed configuration options for LDAP user mapping

With the 2.2 release, we cleaned up the LDAP configuration to
increase consistency. However we missed to provide a fallback to
the old scheme. This fallback is in place now.

We strongly encourage you to adopt the new scheme.

The old style (up to 2.1) configuration:

Should be changed to:

Important for Upgrading:

For those folks who are using OTRS 2.1.x and want to upgrade
to 2.2 please read the UPGRADING and INSTALL files.
