Hello crythias.
I want to let you know that I really like this!

PROBLEM: Patched from 2.4.7 to 2.4.8 to 2.4.9
Hello. I patched version 2.4.7 to 2.4.8 and then to 2.4.9. Now, Ticket View doesn't show open tickets after they were responded to and shows My Queues (0). I just replaced the following files: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ v.2.4.8 http://otrs.org/advisory/OSA-2010-02-en/ OTRS 2.4.x: o Kernel/Output/HTML/Sta...

Thanks for your reply, crythias.
Wow...
Although I haven't tried this yet, I am impressed!
After I finish a couple of project milestones, I will give it a try. I am excited about the solution!

Re: How? Prevent signup with FAKE E-mail
Thanks for your reply, crythias. Actually, the form serves our needs the best. Therefore, I need to find a way to make this work. It would be a good step in the right direction if OTRS had the ability to implement reCaptcha, but by it using the .dtl files, I don't see how that is possible if there i...

How? Session Variable creation and deletion
Hello.
What is the best (efficient) way to create new session variables in OTRS? Also, what about deleting these individual variables from sessions when done?
Thanks.

Hello.
What are the ways to prevent the creation of accounts using fake E-mail addresses?
Also, is there a way to use some type of E-mail verification?
Thanks.

Re: How? dtl forms: Add & parse Perl statements
Thanks for your reply, crythias. I'm trying to add reCaptcha. It calls for adding a Perl print() statement within the <form...> code. (ref: http://search.cpan.org/dist/Captcha-reCAPTCHA/lib/Captcha/reCAPTCHA.pm) I tried using the $Text{...} which printed the code, but it did not parse it, which is k...

Re: How? Have agents 'watch' a queue not just individual tic
Thanks for your reply, Daniel. All of that was configured but I had not received a couple of E-mail notifications from a new queue so I was wondering if something changed in v.2.4.x after upgrading. It turned out that the E-mails were sent externally so notifications weren't sent. I should have chec...

How? Have agents 'watch' a queue not just individual tickets
Hello.
How can selected agents be able to 'watch' all of a selected queue's activities thereby receiving the same notifications as the owner or responsible party versus subscribing to individual tickets after the tickets have been created?
This question has just surfaced.
Thanks.

CustomerPanelUserID: What is this used for?
Hello.
What is the CustomerPanelUserID param used for? I see it has a default of '1' (for root@localhost).
Also, when should a user other than '1' be used?
Thanks in advance.

How? Show last agent reply timestamp on 'My Tickets' page
Hello.
How can the last agent reply timestamp be displayed on the customer's 'My Tickets' page (Customer Status View) so that the customer can see it 'at-a-glance' especially if they didn't receive an E-mail message or didn't see the reply E-mail'?
Thanks in advance.

Re: How? Find 'Lost Password' using Email not Username
Thanks gig0069. What if they change their E-mail address such that they no longer can receive E-mail replies/notifications from OTRS especially since they don't have the ability to change their own user profile data? I guess I could add an FAQ to suggest that they send a login change request. I pref...
