there are a lot of hanges between the versions, so you need to perfiorm all migration steps between the versions. So you need several steps which need to performed on a system with good performance.

From my experience AWS is not a good solution to run OTRS on.

3.3.x is not supported and has unfixed security issues. Also it might not work with actual versions of Perl.

I strongly advise to use the latest version of the ((otrs)) community version or to the fully supported OTRS which is available as managed system also.

this can be achieved by the Statistic Module within the ((OTRS)) Community Edition or the reporting module in OTRS.

For operation of OTRS you should have profund Linux Know How and I also would recommend an OTRS administrator training

Jede Mailadresse die im OTRS verwendet wird muss unter den Mailadressen eingepflegt sein.

Neue Tickets können über teilen (seit OTRS6 nicht nur Telefonticket als Ziel) und oder innerhalb von Prozesstickets erstellt werden

wenn Du eine Mail aus OTRS an eine Adresse schreibst die dem OTRS zugeordnet ist (was bei korrektem Setup nicht möglich ist) landet diese natürlich als FollowUp an dem Ticket.

Ich habe allerdings noch Verständnisschwierigkeiten bzgl. des Usecases

Hallo,

erstmal solltet Ihr dringend auf ein aktuelles Release von OTRS wechseln, Eure Version hat diverse Sicherheitslücken und Bugs.

Ansonsten könnte hier DNS, Mailversand (SMTP?) und ggf. mangelnde Plattenperformance für den Cache ursächlich sein.

first of all you should aleways use the latest patchlevel (which is 5.0.27 for your version) to get bugs and security issues fxed! Also the migration to 6 would help on bugs.

Some of the issues might be just bad training or misunderstanding of the agents

the OTRS6 way is much faster, just use the filter on the left (and/or the possibility to use favorites)

I'm using OTRS for more than 15 years now and for me it was an easy switch

There is no possibility to do so. As OTRS does not handle only emails and the Generic Agent can do much more then in the Postmaster Filters

the appliance is not maintained any more and therefore contains unpatched and unsecure versions. Please use latest version of OTRS or register a trial instance via otrs.com

OTRS does not flag mails as spam. Check the email headers and find out why mailservers are flaffinng it and what mailserver does flag it. Then you can start to solve the issue.

I don't think it is an OTRS issue. Please contact your e-mail admin for supporting you to setup everything in a correct way or switch to a fully managed solution

Hallo,

es gibt wie auch von Emin beschrieben sehr viele Möglichkeiten. Lies doch einfach mal die vorhandenen Dokus.. Desweiteren gibt es deutlich weniger Reloads, ein Deployment System mit Historie und Roll Back (in der OTRS Business Solution™) etc.

it depends on many parameters. Like ammount of concurrent users, mails, size of mails, number of articles etc, database type and if on the same machine etc..

check the logs and the OTRS spool directory.
