Try to clean your browser cache, maybe the now disabled entries are still saved there, hence why you still see it.

The easiest way would be to configure the same MaxEmailSize on the mailserver as on otrs, so that the mail doesn't even get fetched by otrs.

Also, as zzz said, you can easily change the MaxEmailSize of otrs in sysconfig.
